To some extent,... I might add forward controls,.. or the perceived need for more legroom...
... when you consider,... no one ever complained about legroom when "standard" bikes were the standard...

People basically just like the feet forward position,... mostly fashion...

I know that will stir some souls... Huh...

I have arthritis in my hips. The forward controls make it easier for me to get my feet on the pegs, and are more comfy for me.

D'Oh my bad, I just realized Serowbot made 2 lists, one for full placebos and one for partial placebos.

The Tkat is probably the least placeboey item there.

I might also add,... half-helmets...

In all my get-offs, (and I've had my share)... I've never managed to land directly on the top of my bean... Huh...

Oh!....  and a locking gas cap...   I mean, really...  is it locking stuff in, or out?..  either way,... it's hopeless...
Just think about it,...  it's easier to steal your gas from the fuel line... and sabotage is more effective in your crankcase through the oil filler hole...  Anybody lock that?...
... Grin...

Good point.  I think I'll deactivate the s on all my motorcycle gas tanks.  Methinks I'll have to make sure they deactivate to the unlocked configuration, eh?  I see the possibility of locking it with no way to unlock it.

You've gotten a bit away from the thread here.  The subject is items or procedures that make people think something is happening when it really doesn't,... you know,.. like seafoam.
