In addition to that you might try taking off the caliper, taking out the pads, and cleaning all that stuff too. While you have it apart: -- Use a very light coating of brake grease (very high temp grease) on the parts that slide, being careful to not get any on the rotor or the pad material. -- Rough up the surfaces of the rotor and the pads a little. Just take off the glaze, don’t actually sand them down. Use a stainless scrubber pad, or rubbing compound, or 320 wet-or-dry, etc. -- On the backs of the pads, put a light layer of RTV. Rub it in a bit, then get a paper towel and wipe most of it off. This stuff is messy so be careful to not get any on the pad material. Then go away for 12 hours or so, and reassemble.
These steps tend to change the resonance frequency of the stuff that squeaks, hopefully keeping the squeak from starting up in the first place.
