I wouldnt think it would be the problem. I belong to a couple of RC Forums and I have no problem with the PM on the other forums. I can email you my password if you need it to go inside.

If it won't let you delete old messages then something's definitely screwed up.. maybe a script or cookies thing. Do you have another computer to log in from? If not, maybe try a quick install of a different browser, perhaps Google Chrome.

I sometimes run into similar problems (using Firefox) but it's usually because I AdBlocked or NoScripted (or otherwise disabled) a function I needed. Roll Eyes

Ok, the error/alert message is due to a bug in the YaBB software that this forum runs on. The bug has been fixed, but the fix has not been applied to this forum yet. Discussion of the bug is here: http://www.yabbforum.com/community/YaBB.pl?num=1177337129

And this one: http://www.boardmod.org/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1232292489 suggests that the "form" (probably the box that says "are you sure you want to delete these PMs") is triggering the security alert.

Neither of those threads come to a definitive workaround that will fix it for all users.. the real fix is to patch the forum software.

But I still think a different browser is worth a try. The problem only seems to affect a few users (you and Al from N.H., as far as I know). See if Firefox or Chrome does the trick.

Seems like I got that error once, when I tried to send a PM to multiple people. It let me send individually though. Doesn't make sense about the deleting though. And if its a bug, why wouldn't it affect everyone?
