Scooter or sled apply equally to cruiser bikes.

Garbage barge, Geezer Glide, Lead Wing to touring set ups (or cop bikes).

Scooter trash, saddle tramp, iron butt, biker trash, etc apply more to the scuzzy, grease under the nails (toes too), bayonet in the jackboot types.

Calling a step through a scooter is misleading, the real name is speed bump. Grin

Stone stock they do look like 250s. I have a really old 250 with the same wheelbase as the Savage. Same saddle height too.

My bike is neither clean or stock. Come to think of it, neither am I (really funny when you consider my wife and I make up to a combined $100/hour)... And I do have a bayonet that gets carried with me basically everywhere. And I ride in Nazi jackboots (Chippewa brand replicas, great riding boots)...

My friend Doug (who is moving here from Seattle) rides a Kawi 1500 Drifter that looks straight out of the 50s. Same boots, 1940s horse hide Norwegian police motor officer jacket, SS hair cut and honor dagger, hidden sidearm (or 3)...

We're both former club riders that gave up on HD and went rice. And kinda legit.

Side by side the orange 650 and green 250 are the same dimensions.

Reply #18 - 09/19/11 at 19:23:35 My bike has badges removed, no windshield or bags, no sissybar, titanium wrapped header, dyna muffler, and arrow rear turn signals... clean as a whistle and not 100% stock.. that's just the appearance though. So he either thought I was on a chinese 250cc or is just a looney.. oh well.. he get's to pump my gas next time
