MBD strikes again. Just out stooging around on Thumprat Sat. AM. Went by local dealer(where Thumprat used to live), and there it was;2007 Honda Shadow Spirit 1100. Just has 10,000 miles, $500 below book. Yep, this is the one:V-twin, hydraulic lifters, water cooled, shaft drive, silver and in nice shape. Wife likes it, thinks it'll be better for riding 2 up. Well I picked it up today. The garage is a bit crowded now. MBD is a terrible affliction. Now I gotta ride 3 of them. Anyone feel sorry for me? So many bikes, so little time.

Oldfeller's rule of thumb for Multiple Bike Disorder sufferers

When you have to charge the battery of a bike 3 times in a single season, time to plan to sell it next spring -- it ain't yer favorite and you ain't riding enough to justify the insurance costs.

Following this rule religiously will thin your bike herd back down to one, eventually.

SV650 went first, then the XV535 went two springs later .... Savage survives to be the One.
