I am thinking of buying a Pinlock anti-fogging visor for my Shoei RF1100.
With the cost of the new visor it will come to around $100.
Does anyone have any experience with the pinlock? Does it work?

I tried a "Fog City" shield once.... it sucked...
Was like looking through Saran wrap, fog or not...
(didn't fog though)...
...
I do think my eyes are sensitive to lens distortions,... so, it might not bother some people...
Shoei may be better quality, but it looks like the same idea...
... best for me has been to have my shield slightly cracked open, and learn to exhale downward when stopped at a light...

Back in FL I used Rain-X. They said that it would discolor the plastic but the visors were scratched up long before they were discolored...and it did control the fog.
I have not used Rain-X in fifteen years so I can't speak for today's visors.
