I just played those tunes on my little deathflute -- Prime does flow fuel faster than "vac on" in either "on" or "reserve" does.

I had to use it last week. Was on the way home
from an outting with hubby. I knew my fuel was
getting low.. Sure enough it started cutting out.
I tried doing it while riding yet, I didn't feel comfortable
so I pulled over and switched it to res.. Hubby had
already turned back to make sure all was well. Smiley kim

I use reserve on almost every tank I fill. Most of my riding is in town short commutes back and forth with errands and work. When it starts to stumble I give it more gas and reach down to flip it to reserve and it usually recovers in 5-10sec of stumbling. Personally, I don't have any trouble with turning mine although I suppose some would find it stiff to turn.

I use mine more often than I want to! I burn through 2 gallons pretty quick. It's interesting tho' that with the raptor on there it turns a lot easier than when I had the stock petcock on there (bigger lever).

I also noticed that the stumble/recovery is way quicker. I hit the reserve transition once on the highway with the stock petcock and it just cut out quick and died...I thought it was something electrical cuz it just conked... Grin
