The twins were gutless wonders, a CB350F could take them out on pretty much any surface. I had a CB500T and a CB350F at the same time.

The CB500F is worthwhile. And parts actually aren't that hard to come by.

My 1963 CL72 on the other hand...

Find me a really clean VT1100 ACE while you're out looking for supplemental toys. And the fully valanced fenders for it too...

Hard to tell, but it's got a brand new rear tire on a clean and polished rim.

Now to cut 20 years of dust off.
f/a #2? if I can get 1 of the 4 to fire, I'll be counting my lucky stars.
#4 is already bound to miss   Shocked
I'll have to OF the air filter, change the front tire, fix the speedo, headlight and signal which took the brunt of the disabling fall.
The PO gave me a spare set of brake pad and Ig plate.  Although electronic ig is instore for it.

It's even the right color scheme...

MAC still has 4:1  or 4:2 headers for that engine...

I was riding back when everyone had those 4-1 I thought the sound was the worst I ever heard. My 1980 GS 1000 had a different set up than all other 4s even the 750 Suzuki, the cross over was just in the 2 middle pipes,So what you had was the sound of 3 cylinders coming out of each pipe,Which gave it a slight off beat sound compare to all other 4 cylinders.I just drilled out the plugs in side the pipe with a long drill bit.I thought it really sound good for a four.

Seems like 4 to 1 would scavenge the best, Get that thing throwing the exhaust out right & it otta be quite a little hot rod.. Nothing like a Suzuki GS 1100,, but it otta be plenty of fun.

Had the bowls off tonight after soaking in seafoam for a day.
Well I was hoping just to fill it up with gas and see if it will kick over.
Opened up the drain to let the SF out and brown goo came out.
Nope this ain't gonna work.  Bowls came off and a tar like substance stuck to the bottom.  Oh what evil lurks in the bottom of 20 year static carbs.  And SF wouldn't touch it, just made it gummy.  It took acetone to cut it.

Let me state something I learned the hard way ....

Only take one carburetor apart at a time

Swapped me some slide assemblies once --- like to drove me nuts before someone told me they were different (RH & LH) on a Honda Twin CB 160.

Can't speak to the 4 bangers, but thought I'd mention the thought.
