I sometimes have a hard time explaining why I can do things I won't let my daughter do. (Like just running up the drive to the mailbox without a helmet when I make her wear a helmet just to load the dishwasher.) This guy will have some "splainin" to do if he lives long enough.  Grin

Used to be called whips. Old days you had em snapped on the end of your handlebars. Rival or cager thats ticked you off comes up you unclipped it and beat the he!! out of them. Most usualy had small steel or lead balls on the end for better effect.
Now days most are simply for looks.

Darminism isnt perfect. Remember, God watches over fools and small children. Cheesy

Personally those leather "tassles" remind me of when I was 10 years old and I had purple sparkly tassles on my 1 speed bike.  I think it looks stupid on a motorcycle esp if you are over the age of, well, 10 and you're not a girl.   Grin

Speaking of stupid, passed a guy on a huge ol bike (no, I dont know what kind, lol) and his riding gear was shorts, flip flops and of a course a Harley T-shirt (sleeveless).  Shocked No helmet, imagine that, but cool biker shades. Umm, whatever buddy.
