First off, thanks to everyone that sent replies/suggestions in my other post. I have gotten the Savage to run without it flooding out when I give it throttle, but it seems kinda gutless ATM.
One thing I notice is that it does not look as if the carb slide is moving at all. I have manually lifted it some and blipped the throttle and it sounded a lot better. A lot like my savage I used to own.
The carb slide is supposed to raise and lower according to how much vacuum the engine is supplying right?
If this is right,. then I should check the slide diaphram and vaccum passage up to the top of the carb right?
Do one of thoes jets on the top of the carb have anything to do with this?
