engine guards
08/07/11 at 14:07:13

I just bought a 2007 s40 and would like to add engine guards. I have looked in my city Kitchener, ON and everyone tells me that there are none available. Where can I get some and about how much?
Thanks in advance.

Post a Want To Buy in the marketplace here, you might get lucky and find someone selling a used one at a fair price.  You can also try bikebandit.com, denniskirk.com and of course suzukicycles.com will definatly have them (just checked suzukicycles.com and they are approx $125 plus shipping).  Good luck  Wink

From experience: Those engine guards don't really do much engine guarding. I think they are more cosmetic. Something to mount highway pegs to. They certainly do not protect the underside of the motor. ( Watch out for random melon-sized rocks in the road. They WILL punch a hole in the bottom of your motor. )

Undecided

No implied attitude here,.... I'm just wanting to know why you want engine guards?   Smiley

Mine hold my highway pegs quite nicely! Lol. Haven't tested their ability to protect anything, (knock on wood).
