I didn't really notice any bad handling when I first got the bike except at highway speed it seemed a little unstable. I read up on it and decided on TKAT's. It was shipped very fast and it is a great piece, very professional. The bike is solid on the highways and much more confident in the corners.

If you clean your bike on a regular basis, then it won't be a problem. I've had my TKat for 4 years and I haven't had any problems (and I don't wash my bike very often).

I also wonder if it's possible to install traditional fork protectors without removing the forks. I guess you could cut them and install them that way, but that's probably not the right way.
