What do you engine experts think about this?I know pressure guages have been talked about, but don't recall anything on this.

Seems like it would also give us more oil,and run cooler.

Like to see what's under the original filter cover...

There's a better way, by tapping the oil flow from the passages...
I think it was Versy posted an internal flow schematic, showing where to attach...

PS... That's a long run... how much more oil do you put in,... and how do you judge when to add?...

When I asked about this a few months ago, I was told the oil pump couldn't handle the extra distance.

Has anyone work on doing an auxiliary oil pump? I have a reclaimed 06 that the PO reversed the oil drive gear. Running nice now, but I would like a little more oil pressure. I am thinking about some type of electric pump.

Well, I do need to start working on my oil cooler...
http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1247791900/0

On cold start up, you got 50 psi of oil pressure, at idle believe it or not.
That dwindles away when hot.  Why?  cause aluminum expands faster than steel and the cam journals start flowing lots of oil.
But at 5k rpm, you still have 50psi and lot's of oil flow.

as far as a electric oil pump goes, you're gonna spend about $300 for a decent one.  And the only time you need to run it is at idle.
