1986 savage carb. ? (Read 42 times)

QMSFFS YaBB Newbies Offline SuzukiSavage.com Rocks! Posts: 2	1986 savage carb. ? 07/25/11 at 11:31:05 I bought a savage for my wife to learn on. I had the needle replaced in the carb. After start up I have gas coming out of both vent tubes on the sides of the carb. Is this most likely my float sticking? Or could it be a bigger issue? Thanks for any input>

Reply #1 - 07/25/11 at 11:39:02 Yeah, I'd say it's the float valve. But, do you have the vent tubes hanging down or are they stuck up in the frame? That extra bit of height helps.
