Nice bike, the rider is hiding.

Me and the Wife:

As you can see, the Savage is a bit cramped.

First try at mounting my springer saddle.  'Way tall for me, but the wife looked very comfortable:

All you need is to move the saddle about four inches higher and backward.

Not a kit.

http://www.jirehcycles.com/ Harley catalog:
Ultima black leather solo seat part number 76-741 $3,039 (I think their computer is a bit off)
3" spring part number 82-16 $2.95 (each)
A couple of steel bars, bent, sawn, drilled; and the front part welded.

First spring mount was:
That was the high and rear mount, good for Ms.Paladin with her 36" inseam, not good for me.  So I turned it 90 degrees and made a spring perch:  And the front mount:

If you can't weld, a front mount could be bolted somehow, part number 82-74, $11.99.

Thanks so much Paladin, for explaining, linking and posting the pics!

I really need to learn to weld, and some better fabrication skills wouldn't hurt either.

Wait so how much did you pay for that seat?  lol 3k, hope it's got a couple ounces of solid gold on it somewhere Wink

This diamond stitch is pretty cool, and it comes in leather or vinyl. Quite affordable as well. I'll go with this company I think. Just need to figure out the mounting...

Hey everyone, definitely check out: http://www.jirehcycles.com/

They have some amazing prices on some things, like risers and seats! Their site is kinda hard to navigate, but wow, good stuff...

Download the catalog, easier and quicker to find things on the PDF.  I paid $50.  The fancy seats are just $70, so the plain will only be $50-60.

Oh I'll have to look for that. I did order a catalog by mail already. I think it comes on CD though, so it's probably just a PDF on the disc then.
