ryca build carb and crankcase breather questions (Read 78 times)

runrun Junior Member Offline Thump thump Posts: 77 Erie, CO	ryca build carb and crankcase breather questions 07/16/11 at 20:56:24 can anyone tell me what these two black hoses on an '02 carb connect to? my clymer manual isn't any help. also, since the ryca build replaces the stock airbox with a k&n filter, what if anything does the crankcase breather connect to?

I asked Ryan (the RY in RYCA) about this. He said the CS-1 is stretching the definition of legal when it comes to venting the crankcase to the atmosphere like this.

Yes, we do need a filter,.. Verslagen is right. RYCA doesn't have anything in the kit that addresses this issue.
