Turn signals - YUCK!

I hate the look of turn signals.  I'm searching for a 3-4" yellow LED strip to run along the upper part of both forks.  I'm also looking for a red strip to run down each side of the license plate frame that I can wire into the brake light.  They have to be waterproof of course.  Any ideas on where to look?  thanks.

These things are all over the internet, including ebay.  The chopper and harley sites have a lot.  They'll cost anywhere from $10 to $300.  The trick will be finding something that a county mountie will not get irate about.

I've got stick on LED strips on my mirrors that would work and a license  plate frame with LED signals and flashing additional stop light. Don't have the information on my computer anymore as to source. Think the front LED came from the folks who have the modulating headlight and flashing stop light accessories and the rear maybe from the folks in Minnesota who sell the fancy jackets and such. Can't remember the name at this moment.  Will look around next time I am by the bike and see if there are names. Max

if you go LED, remember to replace the flasher with an electronic one or they'll flash too fast.

Since I got ticketed for a bad license placement,.. I lost my signals completely when I went to a side mount bracket...
Now I just wave hysterically to announce my intentions... Huh...

I'd sure like to see some pics.  Please take the pics at dusk or thereabouts,... it would give the best idea of how they look if there were enough light to see the bike and the surroundings, but still have the ambient light low enough to emphasize the LED lights.

Custom Dynamics has a lot of this stuff.

http://www.customdynamics.com/motorcycle_lights.htm

There's also Radiantz. I got a stick-on, waterproof, strip light from them to augment the brake light on my other bike.

http://www.radiantz.com/

Anyone who sells LEDs for motorcycles also sells diodes or other gadgets to balance the electrical load for LEDs.

Serow, Make that "Historically". I think that was probably the way we started signaling years ago. iirc that's the way Hannibal Leckter signalled the elephant drivers when they crossed the Smokey Mtns into Tennessee in the Civil War.   Grin Oh, and Value Accessories have the goods and complete installation instructions on line. Fast service, too.

Oddly enough,... I think people actually see me, more...
Yellow blinking lights are all over the place in traffic,.. waving arms, not so much...
Plus,... I have arms like a monkey... Huh...

Actually I almost always give hand signals, too. I hold my arm out and then do a "blinking" back and forth hand movement. Especially good for someone who has been following for several miles and got the fixated stare.

I'm using two of these.

Plenty bright enough, and they unclutter the front and rear of the bike.
