Great help!!!

Thanks to all who helped this idiot get his savage running again. I had a #155 jet originally so I put that back in and it runs great. One more question: it seems to have a loss of power on the low and, then similar to a dirt bike, hit a certain rpm and it takes off. 1) Is that typical? and 2) do i need to change something or will it not hurt anything. FYI the gas has been in there for 6-8 weeks. Will it help to run a tank through then worry? Thanks a million to all who helped.

Our bikes are not known for any particular rpm kick... They should be pretty torguey all the way up to redline...

Are you running a straight pipe?...

I think your slide is sticking.  Add an ounce or two to a full tank and run it thru.

You might even try spraying some carb cleaner into the airbox,... just pull out the air cleaner and spray some in the hole while the engine is idling... then rev it a couple times...

As far as I can tell, the bike is stock. The muffler appears to be stock. I will try the seafoam and see how that works. Thanks all.
