Found this one on ebay. It works with my 2011 fork lock.

I offered him $7 and he took it. Had it cut for free at local locksmith.

You can get the blanks at a BMW dealer- they use the same fork lock key.

My locksmith had the blank and made the key for $4.

Seems to me if a readily available, inexpensive, key blank can open so many fork locks it's time to find something else to secure your bike.

If you are depending on the stock fork lock to keep someone from stealing your LS650, you are a not very realistic. This situation is similar to a Big-Lots door chain protecting you from someone breaking in to your apartment.
The fork lock itself can be overpowered by just turning the handlebar really hard several times,... an easy thing for big guys or a couple guys to do.
Also, a huge screwdriver pounded into the lock with a couple swings of a large hammer will pulverize the lock itself enough so that it can be twisted as if the key were in it,... an easy thing for a small person to do.
That said, I still think using the fork lock is a good idea. It's just one more thing a thief has to bother with, and it might be enough to deter some bad folks who will bother only bikes that are completely unlocked.

I have a set of spare keys on my bike. Ignition, fork, gun lock I use for helmet sometimes, and cable lock I almost never use. Bad people already complicate our lives, so I don't want to be left in a hot parking lot, because I took steps to protect my investment and lost the keys.
