Last Big? Trip

315 miles in two days. Plenty for me. The Savage did great. Stayed in Lynchburg Country Inn Friday night. Needed a quiet place to crash, so didn't go to lake house on Tim's Ford till Saturday. About 3 hrs 15 mins going up and 4 1/2 coming home. MM Ranch can verify the signs. Had Great BBQ at Red Caboose. Live band first Friday/month. Looked like a lot of regulars. Owner sat down and talked a while. His wife came by and asked why I walk funny.  Grin I've been trying this for an hour. I will try more pics.  Boofer  Smiley

Heading home Saturday. Hwy 50 outside Lynchburg. Lots of big cruisers there every Saturday. Good roads, too.

Cheap Vivitar digital worked well, but couldn't see screen in sun, so I guessed where it was pointed.

Nice little place to stay. Clean with coffee in room and honey buns for breakfast. The guy picked me a room where I could tie up Suzi to a post, but he said it wasn't necessary. Noticed four big Harleys in front when I left.

Flog me with a drive belt, but I knew I couldn't ATGATT in 96 degrees with the back brace, too. The neon yellow shirt was my second line of defense. The "Main Street Cycle" logo from a local bike shop caused a couple of Harley guys to stop and ask about where, who, etc. Turns out they live about 8 miles away from me in Alabama. Serowbot, I gave up using wife or daughter's camera, so bought $30 one at WM. Tired of having to buy batteries just to take one shot. Grin And they NEVER delete a photo.  Grin
