K&N Questions

From another post it looks like this filter will fit right on the intake:

Question: Will this dramatically change the airflow so that a re-jet will likely be necessary? Would a smaller K&N, or one that is mounted further from the intake have less impact on the air/fuel mix?

There is a TON of sizes and options on these filters and I assume you could make most of them work, but what are the things to consider?

Unless you did drastic other mods to the air intake and exhaust system, you have little or nothing to gain w/ a different filter, and you sure don't need any rejet. If its for show, go for it ! All this from my "limited" experience,....and IMO only.

The fit over the stock battery box was tight but it went with a little work. Seems to idle fine, sounds good. It rained a little so only rode it around the hood.
