If I wanted a mud flap Id go to the gasket shop & buy a hunk of 3/16ths rubber, spend some time lookin around a hardware store or junk yard for a piece of metal to cut the edge trim out of & mount that thing up.. Rivets are fun to work with,,
Actually, Id find the metal bits first,,

Cut a thin rubber doormat, some car door molding for the bottom, carpet door metal for the top, drill a few holes, and secure with a few pop rivets. Cheap mud flaps. They’ve work on my vehicles for years. Change as needed.

I bought 1ft of rubber floormat runner from Ace Hardware ($4.00 per running ft., 3 ft wide)...
It comes in three thicknesses,... I got the thickest..
Cut it to shape, put a metal support plate at the attachment point under the fender,
...and done...

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut between the seat and the handlebars. Make sure yours isn't too tight or too loose.

Just curious.... but doesn't mounting a mud flap on a chopped fender kinda defeat the purpose or look of having a chopped fender??? Just sayin'.

Mebbie so,...
Truth is,.. the fender was about 4" longer but developed a crack, so I had to shorten it... a bit more that I liked...
So,... I added the flap...
That's my story...

Kinda pointless on a stubby fender. I'll likely add them to my Savage, but, I do run a full rear fender.
Any HD catalog will have them, I like the ones from J&P Cycles Vintage catalog or V-twin Mfg's vintage section. You'd order a skinny front (Wide glide type) and a medium size rear if you run both stock fenders.
Buy the rubber ones, leather ones are for show bikes.
