Any ideas for use of old handlebars?
06/26/11 at 18:40:13
Hi All,
When I had my accident the handles were bent. They weren't knotted or tangled, just slightly bent. I hate throwing things out. Does anybody have any creative ideas of how I might be able to use them? One thought I have is make them into highway bar foot rests.

When I lowered my forks I found that the 1'' diameter made perfect spacers.
They also make cool turn signals.

Didn't someone (probably Bot) post a pic of a bathroom with handlebars as the towel holder, and rear-view mirrors, and the sink knobs were something too... ??? Somebody rescue my memory please...

Way to go bh. I forgot about that picture. A friend of mine was quite drunk when a girl insulted his girlfriend. My friend insulted her so her boyfriend, as my friend explains it..."Beat the hell out of me with a set of bicycle handle bars"...and they have been happily married for 30 yrs.
But no I have no idea what to use them for.
