bobber progress!!

Just got the seat mounts welded on, then assembled it and took her for a spin!

Might spray bomb the tank/frame because of Canada Post strike, my powdercoating gun will take forever.

What do you guys think?

Looks wicked SD! I'm not usually a fan of ape hangers, but those look good.
I hear ya on the CP strike ... but I would wait for the gun (looks kinda cool the way it is now).
What colour are you doing?

I had a powder gun that I did the carb pieces, levers, brake cylinder, fender, and side covers with. but I left it on and it burned out, so new ones in the mail.

I think Im going with a dull flat black on the tank and side covers, then just gloss black on the rest of the frame.

Thinkin of buying a spare tank and side covers, and doing candy blue or candy red!

thanks for the input

Oh, yeah!  Lookin' sweet, man!  I said it your other thread, and I'll say it here too; hammer on the clear and roll the bare steel!  Just my opinion, though.  I'm sure it'll look killer any way ya decide to go.  Candy Blue, eh?  Pretty rare choice, and a good one, at that.  Good workmanship speaks for itself....

i like the bare steel idea, but I ended up giving it a spray bomb coat just to seal it up from moisture.

sorry about the mobile upload.

I love the BCB exhaust that I recently installed. I think it would go great on your bike.

Im trying to install a stock sportster pipe on it but I dont like how it sounds, mounts, or looks. Im gunna have to tear the bike down and do a proper paint job (thats spray bomb).

Id like to powdercoat the entire thing
