Sea Foam or any carb cleaner doesn't workin 10 or 15 minutes it take maybe 8 hours.

Now yout tell me! The carb is in a million pieces now, but looks like only the pilot jet is clogged. Having a hard time finding one locally so I was thinking just soak it in carb cleaner (or better yet seafoam?) for a few hours. Is it even possible to unclog the pilot jet? It is hard to believe that this one little component can bring down the whole bike!

Soaking it in CRC should work just fine. Also, if you put the straw on the can, you might be able to blow out whatever is clogging it, just watch your eyes from the spray back!

Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to announce that my bike has awaken from her deep sleep! This would not be possible without your help and the excellent how-to by SavageWahine. Many thanks! If anyone is hesitant like I was a couple days ago, stop worrying and just do it.
I would like to add that taking out the battery box is the first thing I should have done before removing the carb. It was a challenge taking it out, and after wrestling with the darn thing for more than 30 min. trying to put it back, I gave up and remove the box and was done in 5 min.! Ahhh ... the satisfaction of finally hearing the vroom vroom vrooommmm!
