The custom gasket wasn't that much. $35 if I remember right.

Today I found something ugly on my cylinder wall. Looks like porosity that has always been there, just got by inspection. I have no other way to describe it, except with a photo, but I am not good with shrinking photos on my mac. (suggestions to reduce picture size??) Anyway, I have no choice but to go to the next bore size. I really hope a 95mm piston will machine the porosity away. Couldn't imagine if it unveils a bigger hole underneath.

Moto: If I search on the Wiseco site under 1992 Suzuki DR650, is that the right application? This is the part number: 4597M09600 for the 96mm piston. $195  Sad

If you use Photobucket to host your pics, they have an easy re-size tool.

Thanks verslagen1. This is a better deal than buying retail or even a discounted retail from Wiseco. The Wiseco site doesn't even list the piston with pin, clips and rings. Buy separately and you just racked up a hefty bill.

When you buy from Wiseco, the pin, clips and rings come with it, all neatly packed in the box.

Hey Moto. What does the compression ratio turn out to be with this semi domed 96mm piston? 9.5:1? I'm going to upgrade 28ccs, bump the compression, and add the web cam. With some head porting, that stock exhaust pipe has really got to go huh? Might have to visit my buddy John at Hytech Exhaust...

Here's the question. What kind of Torque and Horsepower figures am I looking at?
