Gave it some gas and the rear wheel went out from under me. I managed to set it down gently, so there was no damage, but I'm sure I strained a muscle or two doing it. Hell, at least I found out that I can pick it up by myself.

Boy, I know that feeling. Years ago I was rolling up to a stop light to make a left and it turned green, I goosed it, back tire went out from under me and there I was sitting bolt upright, legs straight out in front of me in the middle of a 4 lane intersection. Sure would have liked to had a video of that.

I was lucky and didn't hurt anything but my pride but it sure was embarrassing. I snatched that old Honda CB77 up and got the heck out of there. I could just hear all those people laughing at me.

Glad, too, cuz I did that in some pretty good traffic..
