if I can't get the suspension adjusted to be a bit softer . . .

when I get off it, I feel like Jackie Chan did in Shanghai Noon when he got off that horse after a long day's ride. .  .

My buddy got rid of his, because the fuel in frame, was burning his right leg...
No problems with that?...
He's riding one of the new Triumph Bonneville's now,... and the fit and finish on those is amazing... beautiful machine...

I imagine you have the shock adjusted to the softest setting already,... or is it stuck?...

... nor is going numb from the vibrations in the seat.  Now you know the REAL reason for the King & Queen seat on the Triumph

and the springer seat on the Enfield

But that was never a problem on the Savage -- it got the custom seat for sore butt and lower back issues:

Doc,.. I just edited my previous post to add info on my buddies Triumph, and came back to find this from you...
Sorry,... didn't mean to "pre-highjack" ...
They are lovely... Wink...

I added the info, because I remember Lost mentioning an interest in them...

I would love a Triumph Bonneville, however, they dont' come cheap, ever.

I need to mess with the suspension on the buell some more for sure, the heat from the engine and fuel in frame isn't really all that bad, unless  you are stopped at a stop light that won't cycle for you, then it can get a bit intense.

think I'm going to try to trade everything in for a Suzuki S 83

My only problem with my S-50 is that I keep looking for another gear on the highway.

then I will have owned them all, the S-40, S-50 and S-83  Grin  for some reason that makes me stupid happy

Yeah, because there's no such thing as aftermarket suspension parts.  Grin

I'm working on it, gimme a weekend will ya  Tongue

I'm not sure how easy it is to find cheap aftermarket suspension for this buell, and it may be the sport bike/stiffer suspension might not be the ride I like. more performance doesn't always equal more comfort and some shocks for the back of the buell cost $800 bucks alone

It could just be a matter of changing the spring rate to something softer. Springs are relatively cheap.
