The young lady on this Suzuki ran over 230 mph at the Texas Mile just minutes after I snapped this. She is known as "Nine Second Jen" & is the sister of a friend of mine. She's so good other people are having her ride their bikes now.

OH, there is no wheelie bar & a rear tire lasts about 6 passes!! Grin

KC1, is that the drag strip at the airfield between Belfair and Gorst? Or did you sneal over to Pacific Raceways?

WD, yeah it's the one near Belfair..
Hate to admit, yet was the first
time I had been there.
Now that the BNL has the car
and will be coming over to race,
I might become a race groupie... Grin Grin
Well as long as it doesn't interfere with
my riding too much.. Wink kim

Cool pics!  And thanks to this thread, I finally remembered to check PIR's schedule, and the Wednesday afternoon drags/car show have started back up!  I know where I'll likely be tomorrow afternoon, if it doesn't rain! Roll Eyes

You'd drive up to Kent? For the races? Isn't Woodburn closer? I know the cars are better...

I got a lifetime ban courtesy of the high school drags. I can go watch, but I can't race at S.I.R., now known as Pacific. Way too fast with way too unsafe a car... 72ish CVCC with a blower 454 and Jag rear end. They said I needed a firewall, a floor and a parachute...  Roll Eyes

Nah, Portland International Raceway.  Only about a 15 mile ride down I-5.  Coolest part is, if I ride my bike down, entry in the car show is the same as parking fees, plus I get to park right across the pit road from the track in the bike area (in the shade!).

Never been down to Woodburn, they always seem to do their stuff on the weekends, when I'm at work. Tongue
