Crazy not to take the long road on a day like that... Wink...

Wow... So my choice is take the turn..
It has twisties and less lights, less congestion
areas. Either way though would be nice to ride. Smiley kim

Yeah, that's my first vid with my new GoPro HD.  Still experimenting with camera placement.  That was chest mounted.  Helmet mounted didn't show any motorcycle and I liked this better.  Thinking about ways to go in between.

Helmet mount and tilt downward,...
... or,.. I've been considering mounting on the right side of my helmet...
(...but, I ran out of sticky mounts)... Huh...

Have fun,.. post some more... Wink...

Ive got a couple of windshield mounts from a busted shield I am thinking would make decent camera mounts.
Enjoyed the video,, the short ride to work isnt the way to go.
I dont stop that close to cars, I dont want to kiss one & I dont like the fumes, either.
By staying to one side, stopped a bit back & pointed somewhat across the lane, Im in better shape for escaping a rear end..

Great pic. Is that a crotch cam?  A bit higher would be an improvement  Grin

The bike is my S50,  Finally happy with the sound.  JC Whitney "Dunstall style" mufflers that I rewrapped with extra glass.  A bit louder than stock but not loud.

Definitely TURN!   Wink

I'm glad I finally remembered to watch this from home.  Our WatchGuard at work won't permit it, and my phone won't play photobucket vids either.  Sucks.  lol

That is a beautiful sharp crisp picture.  Makes me wanna get one of those cameras, but they are high dollar, aren't they?  Can you show a pic of the one you got?  Looks like you got some really wide shoulders with that mounting position!  Maybe a mount on top of a shoulder would be cool??  I'm still experimenting with mounts too.  Rigged up a way to mount mine to my belt on my side but haven't taken many vids with it yet.  Maybe tomorrow's ride to work.  Thanks for the inspiration.

Oh, I think the S50 is sounding great too!  The sound pickup on that camera is alot better than mine!

Motorcycle Superstore had the Motorsports version on sale for $239.  I'd been thinking about one for a long time so I grabbed one.  The final selling point was realizing that the waterproof housing would allow me to get some pool shots of my granddaughter.

Those shots were mid-chest mounted.  I shortened the strap and changed the mount to get the camera just under my chin but I haven't done any test shots yet.  I took next week off so I can head up to Laconia at some point and I will also be doing more filming.  I want to do a feature on the mini-bagger/cafe/bobber.  It's getting new fork seals but should be back on the road by the end of the week.
