All motorcycle for the last 30 years will gain horse power by going to a richer high speed jet.

For a lean symtom at hi speed or WOT, always try "prime" first. After that you're probably into a lean jet condition.

Others here will know better, but I'm not sure a lean main jet would feel the same as running out of fuel.

Keep in mind that in a WOT situation, there is minimum manifold vacuum to hold the petcock valve open, so is the reason to always
try the prime position before assuming a carb (rejetting) problem.
But if it is under warranty, I .....myself, would let the shop handle it.

Hey, I'll give that prime position a shot! I don't dog it all the time, but it feels good to take off like a rocket once in a while.

Also want to see the racing video of you and Bill!

Yeah, don't hold your breath waiting for Bill to show up at the race spot.

Besides, the tick-tick-tick-ticking would plumb drive you crazy while you wuz a waiting for the starter person to drop their arm.

Me, I don't think I'd have to worry about Bill's smoke other than at the starting line, well not unless the prevailing wind direction was blowing from up behind us real real real strong like.

You see, Bill has a standing invite to show up at Deal's Gap during Dragon week each year and he gets him another opportunity for at least one other run sometimes closer to Labor day a bit later on in the season.

This year could be special you know,  Verslagen will be there at the end of this month so Bill could show him in person all about his red magic stuff as performed by the hands of a true believer.

Cool
