The stock fender is pretty beefy... ... if you're sure it's what you want,... you could cut the front fender into a brace...

I could really only tell when I got on those roads where they cut those grooves in them and then the front would move around some.

Looks cool blah blah blah. Never noticed any real change in handling. First day it rained changed my mind though. The spray perfectly arced right over my windshield directly into my face.
