brake light not working
05/21/11 at 09:07:22

My brake light isnt working when I hit the foot brake.  It works just fine when I use the hand brake.  I pulled off my pipe to take a better look at the cabling to see if something was disconnected and found the cabling going back to the light as seen in the picture.

Is that right?  Or does it need to be connected into something?  If I follow the cable back to the middle of the bike I can pull on cable and the brake light will go off just fine.  Is this just somehow disconnected?  The clymers wasnt very helpful and I cant find any spot to slide that cable in on the foot brake mechanism.  Any help would be very appreciated!

real micky mouse set up.
should be a tab for it on the end of the pin for the brake cable.
I can see the plastic retainer is gone.
just wire the two together.
