Hmmm, that's interesting.  I wonder which schools she's referencing.  They're not doing that in any of the public schools in my area.

The "big three" taboo subjects in life which I first heard mentioned in the 70's(my favorite decade-if you don't count the Beatles  the 60's   - the greatest group ever)   sex, religion, and politics   the 3 subjects that cause problems between the masses   its probably wise that the topic of sex not be spoken of here    but the other 2    ok   as long as people will be somewhat reasonable/not insulting    although I know from experience that many will disassociate from you due to your beliefs   and I expect some from this site to do so regarding our passion(suzuki savage/s40's) so be it      :'(

President Obama says recreational users of marijuana in states that have legalized the substance should not be a "top priority" of federal law enforcement officials prosecuting the war on drugs.

"We've got bigger fish to fry," Obama said of pot users in Colorado and Washington during an exclusive interview with ABC News' Barbara Walters.

"It would not make sense for us to see a top priority as going after recreational users in states that have determined that it's legal," he said, invoking the same approach taken toward users of medicinal marijuana in 18 states where it's legal.

More of Barbara Walters' exclusive first joint, post-election interview with President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama airs tonight on "20/20" at 10 p.m. ET on ABC stations.

Obama's comments on marijuana are his first following Colorado and Washington voters' approval of Nov. 7 ballot measures that legalize the recreational use and sale of pot in defiance of federal law.

Is Baba really happy about the legalization?

The State Law is, IMO, more powerful than the Fed law. I think a careful rad of the Big C supports that. That, & a simple look at what it IS that constituttes the Feds,, The States GIVE it its body, so, how can it be the controller? Without the States, there IS no fed, & no fed power. They dont run the states,,

That is THE fundamental difference between the USA and Europe.

In Europe, the Regional Governor cannot overrule the Head of State.
If he can, then the Head of State is not such, and the Nation is just a tossed salad.

Thats certainly one of them. USA says the People are the sovereign. Thats the Biggy,
People make the cities, cities make counties, counties make states.
The individual matters here. Our rights cant be voted away from us, even by a majority, Only by changing the law can our rights be changed. My rights wont ever change, because theyre Natural Rights. We are all Kings. The State isnt our king,
Of course, those who know little wont be able to wrap their heads around that. Howls will come up from all around.
Think of how free YOU would be., Thats what you should be.
PLease, do NOT try to say that would make people free to wrong others. you know better,,
