i'm a big guy.
6ft tall
71.5in wing span
and about a 34in(thinkk thats right. might be taller) inseam
about 210lbs-have been know to get down to 200 for weigh-ins
looking to pick up some forward controls(support the sight)
but i found some 6in forward controls on EBAY for a few extra bucks. look decent.
not looking to take away from the site, site supporters, or sponsers BUT looking for opinions on the taller guys with the 4in streches or 5in streches even guys with 6in(havent seen any on here)
if any one has experiance with the 6in set on ebay please feel free to jump in with opinions.. thanks

I got a set from Ed L (this was in the pre Routy days). Like someone said, about the best money I spent on the bike. I guess it depends on which you like the looks of better. I too am a 6 footer, I wonder how I rode the thing before I put the forward controls on. And I thought it was great before.
To answer your question, 6 inches is not too big. I would hate to go any shorter. But I don't think I would want them any longer, either.

Got Ed Ls 4" forwards. Money well spent. I can't say that 6" would be MORE comfortable for me as much as just different. Im 6'2" you really ought to have one or the other though.

So take off the shift and brake levers, rest your legs on the stock controls, only 6" forward. Does it feel right?
