Some of you know my know story, some of you don't. Suffice it to say it's been a bumpy road. (for the curious: http://suzukisavage.com/cgi-bin/YaBB.pl?num=1295999410) well, this weekend I finally got everything put back together. So here’s the stat’s. 1997, BCB straight pipe, K&N cone air filter, some carb rejetting (I have it written down somewhere), a Wiseco piston and 97mm bore, a verslavy, and 10,000 miles.

As it sits now:

Video Here: http://youtu.be/OnS1gkjFp2Y

I just couldn’t wait to show it off, but this week (Wednesday most likely) I’ll be installing the custom seat my brother made me:

and a header wrap, just because I like the way it looks.

she runs like a dream, and I couldn't be any happier   Grin

(p.s. i'm at work and the security settings won't allow me to view the pictures or the video, so if they don't work, let me know)

EDIT: I didn't realize just how poorly I posted all this. I cleaned up the pictures and reposted the video through youtube.com this time.

My 1st impression of the graphic on your seat is that I would be very happy to see the inspiration for it.   Shocked

Your pics appear half black.  Maybe need a reload?

the last picture shows my tattoo (I think) and that was the inspiration. and if you are talking only abuot the picture of the bike, that's just the way they are, they came out weird when i rotated the picture on my phone. I'll repost more soon though... better ones!

actually you didn't catch my drift...
my 1st impression leads other places than where my knowledge does.
so please don't educate me.   Roll Eyes

I bent the horns down a bit and welded some brackets, here's the mounted seat. It's a fun work in progress with so much left to do! I’m struggling between wanting to ride, and wanting to customize.

Once again, I need better pictures, but these will suffice for now.

Looks good, you must be a pretty tall guy. I noticed not only do you have your forward controls extended, but you mounted the seat back a ways from stock. How does that combination feel?

Nice job! Did you get the cylinder work done locally or did you send it somewhere?  I'm jealous cause I cant even get my dang engine out, stuck screws and lack of a proper work space are killing me

I'd also like to see a drive away/drive-by video of that exhaust, sounds mean!

I’m only 6 ft, the forwards are from Ed L. and are only 4 inches. The stretch feels great to me!

I had the work done locally while I was still in AZ, friend of mine knew a guy with a shop, only cost $40. I’ll be posting more videos and pictures soon, I’ll be sure to add a drive-by.
