Correction . . . Brake light won't go off
05/02/11 at 19:18:11
I thought the brake light wouldn't come on, but after playing with it I realized that the brake light is on all the time.
Any idea what this might be?
Where is the brake light switch for the foot brake?
Any help appreciated.
Bob.

Might be a little hard to find with that description
rear brake switch is on the right side, just above the pivot point for the swingarm. It has a spring and a cable leading to it.
Front brake switch is on the master, there's a wire leading up to it on the bottom.

Again, that was very helpful.
I inspected said switch this morning, and it appears that the internal spring is too weak to pull the little plunger back up. this results in the brake light being on all the time.
I can lift the plunger to turn off the brake light, but it will stick again the next time I use the rear brake.
Any idea for a good place to buy another switch?

Start with cleaning the switch and stuff. A bit of grit can cause a lot of trouble.
