LID is a form of development that uses techniques and practices that minimize the quantity of stormwater runoff as well as improving the runoff quality. In general it attempts to mimic the site's natural hydrology.
IOW, youre trying to show how a parking lot can be built w/o causing someones front yard down the hill from it being flooded every time it rains. When they built what is now Bush Intnl airport ( back then it was Houston Jetero) my house flooded every summer, because they built it so all those square feet of earth tht were now covered in cement no longer could allow the rain to soak IN,,, so, it hadda go somewhere,, & it went to Greens Bayou, which had a bottleneck downstream from my house, & my house was sitting in 3 feet O water,, They Needed a study like that.
So, youre a surveyor, too or you take a survey & work from it?
