Odd noise from left side of the bike.
04/03/11 at 11:55:45
Have had an odd noise coming from the left side of the bike. It all started when I got the engine side panels out and put them back on. The noise is like a buzzing sound.
Could it be this?

belt guard at the pully cover theres an insulator that goes there..
check belt guard for rub marks..
can hit back of guard with your palm to rattle and listen, doesnt take much..

So The sound is only when the bike is rolling and if I pull on the clutch the sounds goes away. Would that indicate is something else ???

Indicates that it's either the belt, or the pulley...
