Metzler Tires?
03/26/11 at 09:34:21

I did my best to search for this information but just couldn't seem to find it even though I swear to myself I read it on here before and forgot to jot it down...

Anyways, I'm looking to purchase a pair of Metzlers, as I hear 880s are the way to go. Do the 880s come in a single size or does it vary?

Essentially, I want to know what size I need and if tubes are required for a new set of Metzlers.

-Thanks!

One more thing. (Or two). 140/80-15 is not be listed on all websites. Call and ask. And this is big for me: Install a new tube in the rear with a 90 degree stem--turned to the right. Not much room on left for a guage or a chuck. Throw in bifocals and high temperature or freezing cold and you have one of life's little "moments". Angry

Which is one reason I'll enjoy having an 18" rim in the rear with the Ryca conversion.

MBuddha, I love the RYCAs, but if I write a check for one...well that's another of life's little moments.  Embarrassed

Thanks for the info, looking for longer lasting rubber with an acceptable ride. Worth the extra money in the long run.  Those seem to be a good option.
