I BCBed mine last year right after they switched to the new metal fender but before the new prices Smiley High quality parts, very nice folks and super easy step by step instructions. You should not have to worry about the mods, only that it will take a few hours but it sure is fun.

Then you can do the jets and air filter while you have it apart, maybe powder coat the wheels too.

Do you have pics of your finished bobber?

Not finished yet, I'm always thinking something or inspired by this forum. Replaced my stock mirror last weekend also.

Looks great!  I can't wait for mine to be done.

What did you do for your mirror?  I've been looking online at some low profile ones but nothing has really jumped out at me yet.

hey arnold, did you notice a difference with the seating position? I'm 5' 9" and I feel like if I slide my butt back on the stock seat about 2 inches it would be perfect...

I got one of those universal Emgo mirror for one inch bars. My stem is too short though so I am not too happy with it but who looks in those things anyway Smiley

Get a long stem if you put it old school underneath but be careful of it touching the tank when turning.

This solo seat tends to make me seat back more, the stock seat made me slide forward towards the tank. I'm 6'1, 210 and the springs are pretty strong.

Let me first off start by apologizing for not posting more progress pictures up on this thread.  I have been dreadfully busy with my business and would only work on the bike for about 30 minutes at a pop when I did.

Now on to the cool stuff..... I DID IT!  My BCB conversion is up and running and all but complete at this point!  woo hoo!  The only thing left to do is wrap the exhaust and then it's off to the shop for dyno testing/tuning, new tires and a full detail job.  I am so excited and learned a ton through this process.  Please feel free to ask any questions that you have about the build and I promise I will be more active on here now that things have calmed down some.  Well, without further ado, here she is (more pics to come soon!)
