Metzeler ME 880 tubless?

I know that many of you use Metzeler 880 tires.
I see that they are listed as tubeless (?)
For those of you running them, how practical is is it to put a tubeless tire on a spoke rim? If you run tubes in the Metzeler how does it affect the ride?

You have to run tubes... It'll be fine with them..
