So I just snapped one in half. My question is can I use this or I need to get OEM ones.

can't be any worse than the stock ones.
put a washer underneath.

Done. Thanks!! After 2 weeks of hard work the bike is running again flawlessly. The Barnett Clutch is a most!!! I highly recommend it!!! Shifting gears feels so much nicer!
