If the facts are too blunt sorry.

Sometimes I have to be extremely blunt at work, it must've carried over.

I don't bruise easy, so no need to apologize, but restating what I've already said or simply replying, "Not good", which was abundantly obvious BTW, gives the appearance that you are more concerned about responding instead of assisting.

Update: Received the new R/R yesterday and installed it. Seems to have corrected the problem. Cool thing is that the it also fixed the horn problem. Prior to the new R/R, the main fuse would blow anytime the horn was blown. I guess a "short" in the R/R was causing the problem. For now, I'll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks for all the input.

Seems to have corrected the problem ?? Well did it or didn't it ?
Do you have at least 13.8 volts to the battery ?

I hope that wasn't too blunt  Shocked

I guess there's one, or two, in every crowd. To answer your question, yes it's charging correctly. I used the word "seems" because too many times "fixes" are temporary and the problem reappears indicating another component.

Just to clarify, this ain't my fight, so I'll get in the middle and catch it from both sides. First, Verslagen is one of the good guys on here IMO. He has helped many with problems. Second, I am from the South. Californians and Yankees used to get on my nerves, but I learned in college we are all pretty much the same. Yankees sometimes offer help in a tone that is unacceptable in the South. But they don't know it. It's just a cultural thing. Ya'll call a beer "a cold one", but to me it's a Dr Pepper. Now I'll raise my Dr Pepper to you and you raise your beer to me, and let's find something in common...like the LS650 and riding, two up, alone, in groups, rat bike, chopped, stock shiny, or dirty.  Smiley

About the type of response I would have expected, full of arrogance. All this pent-up anxiety must result from the embarrassment of riding a chick's bike. Have a good ride on your mini bikes boys. I'm out.
