Here is their theory, in English:
http://www.physorg.com/news/2011-03-large-hadron-collider-world-machine.html Quote:"One of the attractive things about this approach to time travel is that it avoids all the big paradoxes," Weiler said. "Because time travel is limited to these special particles, it is not possible for a man to travel back in time and murder one of his parents before he himself is born, for example. However, if scientists could control the production of Higgs singlets, they might be able to send messages to the past or future."
I don't think this guy has thought his theory through very well. Clearly, a message sent to the past can very easily cause a paradox.. one could just send a message to the past to have someone else kill their ancestors instead of trying to go back in time to do it themselves. So whatever "time machine" these attention whores come up with, will NOT be usable even as a communication device.
