Im getting the Dyna Muffler and i was wondering if it will favor me getting rid of the baffle or not. Im going for performance.

Keep the baffle...  If you remove it, you will lose all your torque...
Torque is what gives you the kick in the pants acceleration... Wink...

My 07 runs strongest with an unbaffled muffler. I did the spacer mod and idle mixture screw adjustment. Definately accellerates stronger and feels torquier unbaffled. My 35 years as a bike mechanic has convinced me that on a four cycle engine the least exhaust back pressure gives the most power. Of course carb tuning to match is critical. Think of all the effort spent making heads flow. Corking the exhaust is counterpoductive. Trouble is the noise! I find it hard to get a good DEEP sound from the Savage. Seems the larger diameter the muffler and it's opening the deeper the tone.
