new hand controls, old electrical system
03/01/11 at 12:39:04
has anyone ever tried putting newer controls ('95) on an older electrical system ('86)? The new controls have an actual switch in the front break lever controls, while the old has just a "contact" switch. My issue is that the new controls have a different harness than what is on the older system. In other words, it has an extra wire for the newer switch...
Any help would be appreciated!
Sorry if this is a rookie question....

couple three months ago some one here did it, there are more wires on the newer bikes

an SSM would be a good investment
