Nope, I didn't. When I paint both wheels again I will. Probably won't be doing another rattle can job on 'em, I'll pull out the HVLP and compressor for the next round and I'll probably be spraying both front and rear red next time.

Foot pegs;
Reply #22 - 03/02/11 at 10:07:48

   So,
We HAVE been slackin' and partying a lot (My birthday's this week and we started early) BUT! One foot peg got done at least and as soon as we get our hands on the welder again the left side will get done.
We cut the big bolt that holds the stock peg and welded it to the bracket, then welded the huge nut that the bolt screws to and welded that to a demilitarized pineapple 'nade. THEN we screwed the nut onto the bolt and welded that shut too. I jumped on it to make sure I'll be able to stand on the bike without dying ;\ Only got one pic but you could imagine what it would look like done I'm sure!

Are you going to use a mine for the brake pedal?

Gotta say, so far, that gas cap is the best part of this build. I love it.

That's just silly....
The mine goes on the kickstand foot... Huh...

PS,.. Hades,.. I asked before, but,... is that gas tank vented?... It needs to be, to allow good gas flow... Wink...

Not running a rear brake at all, so, no need for the pedal.

Gas tank is not vented and since I got the bike hasn't even had fuel in it. I'm glad you mention that, and I assume I missed it the first time, apologies. I'll have to look into how I'm going to vent it! Any suggestions?  Smiley

I think I'd drill a hole through the top of the cap and run a clear hose, looped up to the forkstem...
but I'm an old dirt rider...
