I now know for 100% sure I bought the right muffler....dyna with the rail mount. Thanks Serobot.   Smiley

It worked! HARFXS1584   #65842-07  80db
One hour install. Quiet. 1/4-20 threads in back. One hole lines up with Suzuki beacket. Clamp holds it on. Fits NightTrain   About 1/2 inch shorter than OE.

Those are small dinky mufflers I like the robust muffler that come on the s40.

Serowbot, Thanks for doing the work to get my muffler online. I did not use an adapter. I did rotate the Suzuki muffler bracket by using a pipe wrench. That helps the bolt go straight through the bracket hole instead of being canted. Installed is about 1/2 inch shorter than stock.  Thanks for this thread and your work. Boofer  Smiley
