Savage seat bolt to a s40?
01/29/11 at 16:52:22

Anyone know if a 2002 savage driver seat will bolt up to a 2007 s40?

I am looking to dump the passenger portion but dont want to mod the orginal.

Thanks.

Yes it will but there is a rectifier and some wire harnesses and such under the pillion (passenger) seat.  You may find that it's more work than you anticipate to move everything.

Thanks Snakelady. I was hoping it was more like my gz250, nothing but the seat to remove and a hole to plug.   Smiley

The wires for the rectifier are long enough to move it to the air filter box, you will still have to redo the wiring harness for the tail light to hide them.
